Ovral Wynter, DDS, is an experienced dentist providing innovative oral health care solutions to patients in New Rochelle, New York. As the leading provider at New Roc Dental, Dr. Wynter and her team specialize in safe and effective general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
Dr. Wynter attended Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. After graduation, Dr. Wynter went on to complete extensive postdoctoral training, including a residency in general dentistry at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in the Bronx, New York, and a two-year course of study in implantology at New York University College of Dentistry in New York City. She also completed a course in bone and tissue grafting at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.
As a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Dr. Wynter uses her training in implant dentistry to help patients restore the function and appearance of their smile and regain their confidence. Dr. Wynter is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and provides a number of essential oral health care services like periodontal treatment and composite fillings.
Outside her work in patient care, Dr. Wynter has served as a clinical faculty member at NYU College of Dentistry for the last 13 years. She’s also trilingual, speaking English, French, and Arabic.
